Description:
'Natsuno Junmai' | Yamagata Prefecture | Junmai |15% ABV:
Yamagata Masamune Natsuno Junmai is a beloved seasonal release from the Yamagata Masamune lineup, recognized as much for its vibrant fireworks label as for its refreshing summer character.

Aromatic notes of lychee and peach lead the way, offering a gentle tropical fragrance that opens into a juicy, fruit-forward palate. While lightly sweet at first, the sake is balanced by crisp acidity and a dry finish that keeps it lively and refreshing. Its rounded umami and full-bodied texture provide depth without heaviness, making it especially enjoyable during warmer months.

Bright, expressive, and well-balanced, Natsuno Junmai captures the energy of summer while maintaining the precision and structure that define the Yamagata Masamune style.

The brewery's celebrated Yamagata Masamune label is shaped by this commitment to quality, as well as the mineral-rich water sourced from the Ōu Mountains. The result is a distinctive style known for its precision, structure, and clean, sword-like finish, a character that has become synonymous with the brewery's approach to sake making.
Rooted in tradition yet continually refining its craft, Mitobe Shuzo remains one of Yamagata's most respected producers of junmai sake.
