Inspired by the circle, a polygon with an infinite number of sides, the Infinity Bowls were designed by Makoto Komatsu in 1984. The black bowls’ curved lip, distinctive wave-like curve and irresistible smoothness make for a pleasurable dining experience. Nesting perfectly, a complete set equips chefs and diners for a breadth of culinary experiences. Available in both black and white, the colors can be mixed or matched. Both have a matte finish.

History:
The Infinity Bowls were designed in 1984 by Makoto Komatsu, whose works have been collected by museums like MoMA, V&A and the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. The line evokes the circle, an endless loop symbolizing infinity. The bowls are manufactured in Seto, Japan by Ceramic Japan, which has been in business since 1973. Known for collaborating with top level artists and designers, Ceramic Japan pairs high artistic quality with traditional ceramic techniques.
