Himukashi Reversible Socks - Wool
With a relaxed lettuce edge ankle, these playful knit socks by Himukashi are reversible in two colors and can be cuffed to reveal both sides. Angled inward, the heel’s design prevents the socks from slipping. Their rubber-free, three-layer construction produces stretch that does not interfere with blood circulation. Made of wool, these socks are machine washable to boot—pun intended.
The Himukashi wool socks come in one size, a Japanese women's size 22 cm-25 cm, the equivalent of 5.5-8.5 U.S.
Himukashi was created by couple Yuuki and Mariko Higashide in 2010. Their work began with designing fabrics and constructing patterns inspired by the simplified forms created when folding fabric, a subtle ode to origami. Its product lines include clothes, glasses, shoes, socks and bags. Himukashi’s atelier and shop are based in Meguro, Tokyo.
