Translating to hot towel in English, oshibori are the wet hand towels often served first at Japanese restaurants. F/style’s elevated take on the oshibori makes use of a traditional Japanese handweaving technique. The cradle is made of bark from the shina tree, also known as the Japanese linden, using offcuts leftover from another one of the brand’s beautiful product lines.

4.75" x 2.75" (cradle)

History:

Emi Igarashi and Wakano Hoshino, both born in Niigata, Japan, co-founded the brand F/style in 2001. By focusing on the art of making things, or "monozukuri" in Japanese, F/style's mission is to re-popularize ancient Japanese craft by applying them to new and contemporary designs. Based in Igarashi and Hoshino’s hometown, F/style creates made-to-last pieces that are thoughtfully designed for the home and personal use.
