Description:
'Sawanohana Beau Michelle' | Nagano | Junmai| 9% ABV:
Beau Michelle is a bright, aromatic sake with a profile closer to a crisp, sweet white wine than a traditional sake. High acidity balances its deep sweetness, giving it a juicy, refreshing character without feeling heavy. Notes of white grape, pear, lychee, and jasmine lead into softer hints of marshmallow and cherimoya, with a subtle creamy quality reminiscent of Calpis, the Japanese cultured milk drink. Its combination of sweetness and acidity makes it especially approachable. Awarded the gold medal in the low-alcohol category at the Japan Women's Sake Award 2023.
