The ANUNFOLD Side Pocket Tote is an oversized cross-body tote featuring a single side pocket large enough to carry a folded eco-shopping bag. Two staggered interior pockets make it easy to stay organized, with one pocket wide enough to hold a laptop or paper files comfortably. In addition to its long cross-body strap, the seven-stitch design that runs along the center handles helps to strengthen them for extended wear. Its VEC nylon material is water-resistant and dyed with bamboo charcoal instead of harsh chemical dyes. No visible branding appears on the outside except for a small leather tag hand-dipped in white rubber, giving each bag a unique stamp.

Made and designed in Japan, the name 'ANUNFOLD' is inspired by Sister Corita Kent's vibrant 1960's serigraph entitled 'Unfolding'. ANUNFOLD carefully selects their materials and methods to reduce environmental impact, choosing recycled materials including 100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles and using natural dye like bamboo charcoal and rice husks.

Elements of this bag are made by hand so there is slight variation. The material is water resistant, but reacts to humidity. It will be softer in humid conditions and stiffer in dryer conditions.
Care Instructions:
Lightly brush to clean. If brushing does not remove dirt, apply a diluted neutral detergent to a clean cloth and dab (without rubbing) to remove. When drying, adjust the shape of the bag and dry it in the shade – not in direct sunlight. The area that has been cleaned may become moist and soft, but will return to its original crispness once it dries.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee. Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
