The ANUNFOLD dumpling bag is a generously sized, low-profile pouch inspired by the form of a xiaolong bao (delicate steamed buns filled with minced meat (usually pork and hot, savory broth.) When the drawstring is pulled, the soft structure gathers into a shape that closely mirrors the iconic dumpling. While its scale recalls a larger steamed bun, the reference remains firmly rooted in the xiaolong bao.
Beyond its playful silhouette, the dumpling bag is designed for everyday function. Inside, a well-considered interior includes three small front pockets and a larger compartment secured at the center with a distinctive triangular stitch. The wide opening allows for easy access and clear visibility, while the low height and broad base provide stability and ample storage.
The drawstring can be clasped in the hand or used as over the shoulder. The knotted drawstring ends are covered in a grey shrink wrap as a visual accent. The dumpling bag balances humor, structure, and utility in a thoughtfully designed pouch.

Made and designed in Japan, the name 'ANUNFOLD' is inspired by Sister Corita Kent's vibrant 1960's serigraph entitled 'Unfolding'. ANUNFOLD carefully selects their materials and methods to reduce environmental impact, choosing recycled materials including 100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles and using natural dye like bamboo charcoal and rice husks. Prop steamer not included.

Care Instructions:
Lightly brush to clean. If brushing does not remove dirt, apply a diluted neutral detergent to a clean cloth and dab (without rubbing) to remove. When drying, adjust the shape of the bag and dry it in the shade – not in direct sunlight. The area that has been cleaned may become moist and soft, but will return to its original crispness once it dries.
