Tensegrity, combining “tension” and “integrity,” is a structural principle balancing compression and tension. First theorized by Buckminster Fuller and visualized by artist Kenneth Snelson, it reflects natural balance from cells to the human body. TENSEGRITYLAB. presents handmade models that bring this principle into sculptural form.
