Description:
Each Sola Lume features a piece of nature frozen in time. By using proprietary techniques, Usagi No Nedoko is able to capture the plant material within a cylinder of clear acrylic resin. In collaboration with Ambientec, these natural elements feature a light up base with three light intensity levels. Both the color temperature of the light and the brightness levels complement the encased organic material with a subtle warm touch. Portable by design, once charged you can display these wonders of nature on a bookshelf, table, or anywhere the mood strikes you. The Sola Lume brings a sense of calmness and awe to any space. A base and USB-A cable is included for charging.

Measurements:
7 1/8 in. H x 2 in. W - at top (base is 2 1/4 in. W)

History:
The concept behind Sola Cubes marries two traditional Japanese values: a reverence for nature and a philosophical appreciation of small, humble elements that are easily overlooked. Each cube is cast from crystal clear acrylic resin and then hand polished, right down to its crisp, micro-radiused edge. Considerable craftsmanship is required to make the cubes, ensuring that no air bubbles are present. Preserved inside is a single leaf, seed, or flower—individually or in groups, the cubes create an opportunity for a meditative moment on the beauty and power of the natural world. Made in Kyoto, Japan by Usagi No Nedoko.

Materials:
Resin and organic plant material with a rechargeable lighted base

Variation:
Each plant is unique. The positioning of the plant in the resin will vary from lume to lume.

Care Instructions:
Wipe the acrylic shade with a soft cloth if it becomes dirty. Keep out of direct sunlight anf high temperature areas to avoid fading.
