Description:
Takeo's Banner Calendar has been celebrated throughout Japan for 50 years since its debut at the 10th Takeo Paper Show in 1974. The slim, vertical shape of the calendar allows it to be hung in small spaces, making it suitable for any home or office.

The pattern is visible every month of the year, and an envelope and message card are included, so you can easily mail it like a letter to send New Year's greetings.

Crane - The cranes are dyed upside down to portray their flight over rough waves, adding realism. They symbolize "marital bliss," as they mate for life, while the waves represent "eternity and birth." Together, they express a wish for eternal longevity and peace.

Chili Pepper - Chili peppers have been considered good-luck charms since ancient times, believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune. Their vibrant design, featuring red, yellow, and green peppers with delicate white flowers, creates a dynamic pattern that dispels negativity and inspires happiness.

Plum Blossom - The plum blossom blooms first in harsh winter, symbolizing perseverance and vitality. Cherished by each generation, it is often depicted in the sumi-e style, enhancing its natural, delicate beauty. These resilient flowers signify the arrival of a new season, embodying a humble yet profound hope for the future.
