Description:
Picklestone T-Unit is a glass bottle that makes it easy to create ochazuke, a traditional Japanese dish in which dashi or tea is poured over rice and eaten with pickles. It is one of the most popular foods in Japan and has been enjoyed for more than 1,000 years.
First, place tea leaves or dried bonito, dried small fish, dried shiitake mushrooms, and chili peppers inside. Then fill the glass pot with water and close the lid. Leave it overnight in the liquids shelf of the refrigerator for a delicious cold brewed tea or lightly sweet, clean soup ready the next day.
You can enjoy ochazuke with cold dashi broth in the summer, and in the winter, the dashi soup stock is delicious warmed up.
