MISUZUDO Marble Edge Notebooks
$48.00
Description:
This notebook is crafted with a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Made in small batches, it reflects a thoughtful approach to materials and design, offering something meaningful for those who value well-made, distinctive objects.
The hardback cover has a gently rounded spine, giving it both structure and a refined feel in the hand.
Each of the three edges, the top, bottom, and fore-edge, is hand-marbled using a traditional technique. Ink is carefully floated on water to form a pattern, then transferred by hand to the notebook. Because of this process, every notebook has a slightly different marbled design, giving each one a quiet individuality.
Inside, the pages are made from smooth, off-white paper that is both durable and resistant to bleed-through, even when used with a fountain pen.
The cover is finished with an embossed MISUZUDO mark, offering a subtle yet elegant detail that reflects the notebook’s craftsmanship.
Variation:
Marbled edges are done by hand, so no two are exactly the same.
History:
Established in 1983, based in Nagano Japan, MISUZUDO is a notebook company that specializes in the art of binding. A small company of just 10 people, each MISUZUDO notebook is made expertly by hand using traditional craftsman skills.
