Designed by Oji Masanori, these porcelain Jicon Sake Vessels and Pitchers were designed with inspiration from both Western and Japanese style drinking vessels.
The two spouts on each side of the diamond pitcher allows you to serve and be served sake without having to flip the pitcher around each time.

History:
JICON is a modern porcelain brand launched by 13th generation ceramicist Hajime Imamura in collaboration with the designer Masanori Oji. The Imamura family has been creating traditional porcelain at the Touetsugama Kiln for 350 years and is based today in Arita, Saga Prefecture.
The brand name "Jicon" is derived from "ji"(porcelain) and "con"(modern times). In Buddhist context, "jicon" denotes "what must be done in the present moment".
