Description:
This sencha from IMA Kyoto is grown organically under full sunlight and contains a large amount of catechins in addition to vitamin C and minerals. These early spring leaves are more delicate and tender, offering a mild, brisk and floral flavor. After harvest, the leaves are steamed then rolled into needles and prepared for packaging. Characterized by a fresh and pure taste with a balance between sweet, umami, acidity, and bitterness.

History:
From Wazuka town, Kyoto where they have an 800-year history of making Uji (green) teas, IMA tea was created to share the best organic teas from Japan to a wider audience around the world. With the popularity of Japanese tea growing, IMA Kyoto aims to educate customers on the totality of the tea experience by combining expert growers, tea brewing knowledge, and the rich culture behind Japanese tea traditions.
