How to Live Origami Bag
A popular design created in 2005 by the lifestyle accessories brand, How to Live, the Origami Bags is a unique and versatile canvas bag made from selvedge fabric woven on shuttle looms. The bag's voluminous design folds down like origami when not in use and its signature wide straps allow for an extra relaxing and comfortable carry. For additional versatility, simply tie the strap in a knot so the bag can be worn closer to the shoulder. Over time the canvas and silk screen gold and silver surface will soften and achieve a broken-in appearance that gives each bag an original one of a kind character.
Due to the handmade nature of these bags, there may be slight variation piece to piece.
Tokyo based designer, Mayumi Katsuya, infuses her elegant and refined sensibilities in her cult designs. Ranging from cotton bags, cotton and linen apparel, and cushions–her most popular work are her canvas bag accessories.
