Created by designer Jin Kuramoto, this mask-shaped sculpture carries an intentionally primitive presence. For centuries, cultures around the world have shaped masks to bridge the spiritual and the everyday, offering prayers, expressing emotion, and giving form to evolving customs and craft traditions. Drawing on this global lineage, Kuramoto studied masks from many regions and eras and distilled their essence into a contemporary work. Each piece is finished in its own distinct palette, ensuring no two are ever alike and creating a singular artwork for any collection.
