Tsuchime Tea Leaf Copper Canister [TS297]

Description:  
A very traditional Japanese kitchen item, this is a tea canister or 'chazutsu' made from hammered copper.  The canister includes a traditional copper scoop so that you can scoop your loose leaf tea into your favorite teapot.  The subdued color of the canister, paired with its ripple like hammered surface, reminds you of tranquil and calm waters.

Copper will patina and change color over time.

Care Instructions: 
To clean use dry cloth to wipe.  Do not wash with detergent.  If it gets wet, dry immediately.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
