We are seeking a dedicated full-time team member to join our team at the store. This role requires a balance of customer-facing service, digital communication, administrative coordination, and operational support. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide knowledgeable guidance on our products, artists, and designers.
Position: Full-Time Associate
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 12701 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066
Language Requirements: English fluency required; bilingual English-Japanese fluency strongly preferred
Compensation: $23 per hour during the training period. After training, the role may remain hourly or transition to a salaried position, depending on experience and performance.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday and one more day off), Flexible weekend shifts required
- Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service both in-store and through digital communication channels
- Collaborate with team members to manage administrative tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
- Support merchandising initiatives, including product ordering and inventory restocking
- Maintain floor displays to ensure a consistent and engaging presentation
- Provide informed guidance on products, artists, and designers to enhance the customer experience
- Manage online store functions, including product updates and content accuracy
- Develop and publish digital content for Instagram and newsletters
- Process, pack, and ship online orders accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with digital tools, including online store platforms and social media
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Interest in design, art, and craftsmanship is highly valued
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic retail setting
