Tensegrity - a term combining tension and integrity - describes a structural system in which tensile and compressive forces exist in perfect balance. Originally theorized by architect Buckminster Fuller and later realized in sculptural form by Kenneth Snelson, tensegrity demonstrates how equilibrium itself can generate structure and beauty.
In these works, rigid rods appear to float in space, held together by networks of fine stainless cables. The resulting forms embody both the inevitability of physical law and the visual poetry of balance.
Beyond a mechanical model, tensegrity reflects the hidden order of nature - seen in cellular architecture, the human body, and countless natural systems.

TENSEGRITYLAB. explores the aesthetic potential of this principle through handcrafted models of varied form and scale. Each piece is conceived as a sculptural object that can inhabit everyday space while expressing the quiet tension between stability and suspension. Seemingly weightless, these geometric compositions invite viewers to perceive the harmony that arises when opposing forces find equilibrium.
