Friday October 26th to Sunday November 18th

For the past 15 years, Tortoise owner and Hasami Porcelain designer, Taku Shinomoto has been traveling across Japan collecting rare vintage Japanese tools.

Beginning Friday October 26th, Tortoise will be exhibiting Japanese vintage tools and folk craft with materials ranging from wood, ceramics and iron for a month-long market that ends Sunday November 18th. All displayed pieces will be available for purchase during this event.

A price list for the pieces will be made available closer to the start date, and as always, vintage sales are final.  Not all items can be shipped, so we request that you come to see these pieces in person before taking them home with you.

For enquiries, please reach us at hello@tortoiselife.com or call us at 310-396-7335.
