Palm sized sea-stone vases and sea stones with legs by Japanese artist, Mitsuru Koga. Koga follows the natural shape of the stone when carving a natural opening and flattened base so the vase can stand upright. The finishing touch is a mixed media plant made from washi and metal to stand and sway delicately inside each vase. Each vase comes in an original secure box, like jewelry. Koga's sea stones with legs also follows the natural shape of the stone, as Koga carves out tiny legs so the stone can stand on its own. History:
Mitsuru Koga (b. 1980), based in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, Koga has the ability to infuse life into seemingly mundane materials and transform them into objects of art.
