Black Barc 'Jyun Cigar Band' Ring No. 3
Striking cigar band with a large pink tourmaline stone showcased in the center of a wide bright yellow 24 k gold band. Designed by Mizuki Tsurutaka, who artfully crafts each piece by hand using traditional Japanese blacksmithing techniques, this ring is meant to be an everyday statement piece. The band's pink tourmaline is believed to represent a love of humanity and humanitarianism. Worn to promote sympathy towards others, it is an excellent stone for healers and counselors because it promotes better listening and understanding. It also carries the virtue of unconditional love and friendship.
Rather than relying on molds, Mizuki Tsurutaka, the designer behind Black Barc, handcrafts all of her work using traditional Japanese blacksmithing techniques. Tsurutaka is based in Los Angeles. She shares her studio with her husband Yusuke Muramatsu, designer of Prospective Flow.
