Fujita Kinzoku Frying Pan Jiu Plates
More than a plate. More than a pan. A clever combination where they can be both! This handcrafted iron cooking pan is designed to look like a beautiful serving plate so it can go straight from the kitchen to the dining table. Add a removable handle in ash or walnut wood to safely handle the hot edge when you move the pan away from the kitchen. Rust and stick resistant due to the high-heat tempering of the iron, the iron brings out the wonderful flavor of your food when cooking while keeping it warm on your table by trapping the heat even as it sits out. Perfect for cooking meats, vegetables, lightly toasting bread - try a recipe to find out!
Medium - 7.87'' Diameter
Large - 9.45'' Diameter
Designed and Tokyo and handcrafted in Osaka, Japan by Fujita Metal.
Each pan is handcrafted on a metal spinner so there is natural unevenness in color and texture.
Compatible with all cooktops including induction. Dishwashing detergent is not required for cleaning. Use only hot water and a scrubbing brush. Pan will become more stick-resistant with use as the oil enriches the pan's surface. As the oil penetrates the surface, the color of the pan will get darker. For long term storage, lightly coat with oil first.
