These lightweight, minimalist bowls are handcrafted on wheels. Coated in urethane and finished with a natural texture, these thin bowls can function as a beautiful addition to a dining table or be used for decorative display. Each bowl nests perfectly within the other.

Variation:
Each bowl will have a slightly different grain. You may not receive the exact bowl in this picture.

History: 
Kihachi Kobo specializes in beautiful, long lasting wood working. Suya's designs come from a long history - he is from a family specializing in the design and marketing of lacquerware. Suya is the sixth generation since 1882 to run Kihachi Kōbō. He finds wood-turners who share his vision and can bring his ideas to life. Satake is a young turner who makes the Kashiwan bowls with Suya, and they both share a profound belief in letting their products speak for themselves rather than focusing on the maker and designer.

Care Instructions:
Some shape and distortion may occur due to temperature and humidity. Avoid direct sunlight. Hand wash only - dry immediately after washing.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
