Mitsuru Koga : Wire Tree
6"H x 3.75"Dia.
Artist Mitsuru Koga (b. 1980), based in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, Koga has the ability to infuse life into seemingly mundane materials, and transforms them into objects of art.
These transformations are Koga’s commitment to exploring the delicate relationship between man and object, man and nature.
Copper Wire Trees are made from the copper wires found inside of a electrical cable. Koga untangles the wires, then twists them into the shape of a rooted tree. Each tree is held inside a cylindrical glass case.
Art pieces are final sale.
