#63 - Copper Wire Tree #3 (All Around You, 2024) by Mitsuru Koga
Intricately woven wire trees made by Japanese artist, Mitsuru Koga, made from copper wiring found inside electrical cable cord. Koga untangles the wires, then twists them into the shape of a rooted tree. Each tree is held inside a cylindrical glass case with lid.

History:
Based in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, Mitsuru Koga (b. 1980) has the ability to breathe life into seemingly mundane materials, transforming them into works of art.
