Lemnos Plywood Lines Clock YK18-17
The plywood frame for this clock is similar to that of a tambourine frame, and has been used in many different designs by the clock manufacturer, Lemnos. Instead of numbers, the designer emphasizes simplicity by showing the hours and minutes through lines only. The contrast of the thin lines that frame the clock with the thicker, more striking appearance of the clock hands gives the piece an overall balance that is both modern and classic.
The clock's plywood frame is made from a natural material so there will be variation in the grain.
Made in Japan and produced by the renowned Japanese clock makers, Lemnos, this Plywood Lines Clock was designed by Tsunoda Yota. He later founded in 2011, his own design studio called, YOTA KAKUDA DESIGN.
