A stunning assortment of Kenji Usuda bowls have arrived at Tortoise, which we've grouped by size. Each bowl is hand turned to preserve the organic edge of the tree bark, and Kenji Usuda's talent for bringing out the natural sheen of each wood grain is something to see. What appears as a shine in the dark brown Nira bowls is actually a meticulously preserved light color streak in the grain. Each bowl is coated in thin walnut oil and beeswax so while they're food safe, these bowls will change color and patina over time.
