Description:
This ring features a garnet set inside an 18k yellow gold eye. The back reveals the other side of the gem in a multi-pronged setting. Garnet symbolizes perseverance and strength and is known as a “commitment stone".  With associations with the heart, blood, inner fire, and life force, garnets have long been considered symbols of love. Garnet symbolism also extends to friendship.

History: 

Rather than relying on molds, Mizuki Tsurutaka, the designer behind Black Barc, handcrafts all of her work using traditional Japanese blacksmithing techniques. Tsurutaka is based in Los Angeles. She shares her studio with her husband Yusuke Muramatsu, designer of Prospective Flow.
